Banse and Blaize are a mysterious duo who appear early in ‘Operator’ to implant a prosthetic eye into Griffifth Alexander Holbrook.
Appearance[]
Both Banse and Blaize are dressed in full-length white coats, buttoned up at the front. They both have white hair- Blaize’s hangs down to just above her shoulders, and appears neatly trimmed save for a few spikes at the front, whereas Banse’s is spiked back, with a small quiff at the front of his head. They both wear large reflective glasses or goggles.
Personality[]
Banse and Blaize both speak in a formal and businesslike fashion, and do not display much emotion in their brief appearance. They politely introduce themselves to Griff only, seemingly ignoring Ash.
History[]
Abslutely nothing is known at this point about Banse and Blaize’s origins, their intentions, or how they produced- or indeed, implanted- 'The Eye'.
Synopsis[]
After the incident which left him scarred and without the use of his left eye, Banse and Blaize appear in Griff’s hospital room with a prosthetic eye. Griff accepts the implant rather than be sent back to England away from the warzone. When Griff later attempts to use The Eye’s ability to access the military computer network to find information on Banse and Blaize, he finds nothing but a cryptic message addressed to him- ‘Captain Holbrook, It is gratifying to see you beginning to master the various uses and applications of the Eye. However, please understand that is no mere bauble and you are merely scratching the surface.’ Banse and Blaize have not been seen or heard of since.
Abilities[]
Aside from the surgical expertise required to implant Griff’s prosthetic eye, nothing is known about Banse and Blaize’s skills, how they were able to access a military hospital despite not being on the military computer network, or even if they originally created The Eye themselves.
Trivia[]
- Banse and Blaize share the exact same face shapes and hairstyles [although with white hair] as two other original characters created for a series of comics by the same artist based on the anime/manga Bleach.
